ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the word transtellationism carries over the meaning of “transcendence by way of the astronomical world”, but qualifies this by the use of the suffix -ism to denote a formalised belief and which then indicates a school of thought oriented on the phenomena of transtellation.
